Careers after DISTECH

Samuel TOURY (Cora Messancy, Belgium), Graduated 1990 – Store Manager After graduating from Distech and completing my National Service, I worked for two years at the Livry-Gargan store as Photography Department Manager. Next, I was appointed to Villers-Semeuse, where, a few years later, after internal training, I was promoted Culture-Leisure Sector Manager. In 2004, I took over the Grocery Sector of the Reims-Cormontreuil store, before being appointed Sector Manager on Assignment (more clearly: Trainee Store Manager). I finished this assignment with four months at Cora Saint-Dizier before being appointed Manager of the Sainte-Marie-aux-Chênes Store. Currently I manage the Cora store in Messancy, Belgium.

Nicolas RIMLINGER (Cora Metz), Graduated 2002 – Sector Manager After studying law, and wishing to develop my professional career, I joined DISTECH to improve my commercial knowledge. After graduating, I was given different responsibilities in the Household Department and then in Grocery. These different experiences helped me gain promotion in 2008 to the position of Industrial Fresh Products Sector Manager in the Cora Metz Technopole Store. Today I am responsible for the Grocery Sector and I still use the knowledge and skills I acquired in 2002 every day.

Gaëlle ROBACH (Cora Reims Cormontreuil), Graduated 2010 - Department Manager After obtaining my high-school leaving certificate, specialising in Science and Management, I joined the Strasbourg store as a salesperson. I soon realised that I was made for this sector. The Cora group gave me the chance to learn about and become part of its corporate culture and gave me the desire to develop my career within the group. Later I obtained an HND in Commercial Unit Management on day release from Cora Strasbourg. Thanks to the support and encouragement of my sector & department managers, I joined DISTECH with Cora Dorlisheim. It is a very enriching year, bringing together theory and practice and training us as well as possible for our future position. Today, I am Household Appliances Department Manager at Cora Reims Cormontreuil, and I continue to widen my knowledge and skills.

Isabelle ESTEBE (Cora Clermont Ferrand), Graduated 1989 - Sector Manager After an HND in the Food Industry, and as I was interested in large retail, DISTECH was the kind of programme I was looking for, with both theory and practice. Over the years, I have had the chance to work in different stores, which has allowed me to reappraise myself all the time, and above all, has taught me many different ways of working. I was Dairy and Frozen foods Department Manager in Record Dorlisheim, then Fresh Products Sector Manager in Record Grosbliederstroff. I then joined Cora Clermont-Ferrand as Catering Department Manager. Currently, I manage interior decoration, household cleaning products, DIY and car accessories.
